Greetings…
I have a question for all of you based on an observation I made
about myself the other day…
First, a little background. Since I was in grade school, followed by
high school and most of my adult life, I was known for many things,
one of them being my nice penmanship…
My mom and sister have lousy penmanship and when anything “fancy”
needed to be written, everyone automatically asked me to write it
for them…
That was then, this is now…
I was horrified the other day when I had to actually write a note
to someone who doesn’t use a computer and lives in another state.
I have been using a computer for so long, I think my fingers and
hands have forgotten how to form words and apply them to paper. I’m
telling you, a chicken, soaked in ink and running away from a rabid
dog across my sheet of paper made neater looking marks than my own hands
did…
If anyone had found the note I wrote on the ground somewhere, they
would definitely contact an archeologist and try to determine the
ancient civilization the markings came from…
I type more than I write and although I suffer from “typo fever”
on occasion, at least you can decipher the sentence. (kinda sorta).
But dang…am I the only one that has gotten so used to typing that
the art of writing is slowly disappearing with my memory?
It was like the old saying…”I just washed my hands and couldn’t do a
thing with them”…
Have any of you had the same problem? (please lie to me and make me
feel better will ya?)
And before I go practice writing “I will practice writing” 1,000
times, I have a much awaited announcement regarding the electronic
cigarettes that I have been using since I quit smoking a little over
a week ago…
They have finally arrived and are on our site today! I’m going to give
you the link to check them out in case you’re curious or interested in
seeing what the fuss is all about…
There has been quite a bit of buzz about the electronic cigarettes in
recent weeks and it looks like the FDA is doing their best to get them
banned until they can do their own testing on them, even though they have
been sold in Europe for years…
Interesting that the tobacco lobby is quietly behind the FDA to “help”..
Anyhoo, I personally believe this gadget has made the difference in my
ability to quit. The willpower has been my own, the e-cig has definitely
kept me from “straying” from the goal…
If you have any questions about them, feel free to ask me about them
on the blogs, and don’t forget, the quitsmoking.gophercentral.com
blog is there for those who need it!
Here’s the info on the Health e-cigarette…
