Greetings…

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and or, weekend. It was very
quiet around here, which is always OK with me. Poor Flyboy was gone
and in the middle of the bad weather all over the country. He spent
Christmas night in Minneapolis, traveled in and out of Denver, Chicago
and Baltimore among other cities and was more than happy to finally
be done with this particular four-day trip…

Flypup was going to go to Chicago over the weekend, but had to stay in
Baltimore because of the weather…

We, on the other hand, didn’t get snow in Phoenix, but had some frigid
temperatures. I know, “define frigid”…

Lows in the 20’s at night!

While that probably doesn’t seem that bad to those with minus temps and
wind chills, keep in mind that Arizonans aren’t used to it…

Probably the only time I didn’t have a problem with Moosie and Ginger cuddling
next to me at night. They put out the BTU’s…

We’re in the homestretch to the end of the year and the beginning of a
new one. Flyboy and I usually stay home New Year’s Eve and welcome the
new year together and semi-quietly. This year will be no different with
an added “twist”…

We will be going to Vegas on the 1st for a wedding. Not just “any” wedding,
but my son Dizzy’s wedding! It seems to be a family tradition lately. Flyboy
and I got married in Vegas, Flypup got married in Laughlin, Nevada and while
I wish the day had been different because of the holidays, I can’t argue
with the plans…

Flyboy and I will fly to Vegas that morning and I will fly back home
the following day. Flyboy has to go back to work in vegas on the 3rd,
so he’ll just stay there…

To prevent Ginger from getting hurt due to a lack of care by the goofballs
here, we’ll board her overnight to make sure she is watched and kept quiet…

Moosie may have a fit waching her sister leave and I may just board them
together to keep the anxiety at a minimum. I’m still deciding this one…

At least my kid should be able to remember his anniversary!!!
