Greetings…
The weather seems to be the big news again today and the past few days.
Record temperatures and we’re not talking in the direction of heat waves
have been spreading through the country. Snow, snow and more snow has been
falling and creating havoc in the transportation industry, which of course,
means Flyboy has been having loads of “fun” up in the wild blue yonder…
He left this morning and was already notified that there would be delays,
possible airport closures, cranky customers and basically, a “good time
for one and all”…
Flypup has been having his share of “fun” on the East Coast and I’m glad
he’ll be off the next few days while this new winter freeze front passes
through Baltimore…
In the winter, I worry about them flying through the snow, in the Spring
and Summer I worry about them flying through thunderstorms, and when they’re
off, I guess I just worry about them being on the roads!
I Guess my worry lines have worry lines these days!
The boys finally headed back to Tucson after being home almost a month.
Gotta love the length of Christmas break for college kids. I think they
actually go back to classes on Monday. The last week always becomes a blur
to me as I look around at the condition of the house…
It’s always nice to have your kids visit, but dang, when you are getting
used, (quite nicely), to having the house to yourselves, the routine
reverts back to a time when you were counting down the time until they
left!!!
(Now, now, no need to gasp in horror, I just say things people are too
ashamed to admit)…
Many of you have asked how Ginger and her torn ligament are doing. I’m
happy to say she is healing quite nicely and barely limping. It hasn’t
been easy keeping her quiet, but she has been pretty good at following
doctor’s and mom’s orders to her benefit. She has been running outside
a little more and limps a little more afterwards, but seems to know she
overdid it and will rest the arm and shoulder on her own…
Moose, on the other hand is doing her best to get Ginger to “engage”
and play. I had hoped the boys would take Moosie to the dog park to
burn off some excess energy while they were here, but like most kids,
they couldn’t be bothered and had other “important” things to do…
Like eat and sleep…
Have a great weekend everyone!
